OK, so here we go, the final project. My initials thoughts have been to look at disaster relief shelters, more specifically transitional shelters designed for short medium term occupation - post tent and emergency shelter - before final reconstruction.
Starting at a wide point of thinking about how to re-house communities following a flood (for example) something better than caravans in UK (again for example) a structure that would be more flexible particularly for big families.
I am also beginning to think about what happens to schools, doctors surgeries and post offices those kind of community buildings if they are affected.

After further thought and research on this matter it seems that the requirements of transitional shelters seem to be quite different depending on the location of the disaster s well as the level of devastation and the general standard of living before the disaster took place.
